Chinese translator
Whatever the document that needs translating, Express Language Solutions have a specialist Chinese translator for you.
However, it's important to know which main dialect of Chinese your client speaks. Chinese is best used as an adjective to describe someone from China, not the language: Mandarin or Cantonese are better bets in terms of accuracy.
Standard Mandarin Chinese, or Putonghua, is the national standard spoken throughout all of China. It is most similar to the Beijing dialect. However, because the difference in dialects is based on the inflection and intonation which is so characteristic of the Chinese language, there are still some intelligibility issues that only a trained Mandarin translator or interpreter can work through. Mandarin is spoken throughout the North and Southwest of China.
Cantonese is spoken in the southeast of China (the Guanxi and Guangdong regions, specifically), as well as the SARs Hong Kong and Macau. Although both dialects are of the same language, a Mandarin and Cantonese speaker would not be able to understand each other, such is the difference!
When booking a Chinese translator or interpreter, it's important to keep in mind these two variants. Our Chinese interpreters have vast experience working with both the private and public sector. Recent bookings have included fact-finding missions in Singapore as well as the translation of contracts and annual reports. For the public sector, we have a long history of providing interpreters for court hearings, housing licence agreements, family meetings with schools and doctor's appointments.
So if you need a Chinese translator or interpreter, we would be delighted to take your call 24/7 on +44 (0) 161 737 2970. You can also get in touch via e-mail at info@expresslanguagesolutions.com.
